Donald Trump Calls on ‘Hamilton’ Cast to Apologize to Mike Pence, ‘A Very Good Man’

Rude! Donald Trump called on the cast of Hamilton to apologize to Vice President-elect Mike Pence after he was booed at a Friday, November 18, showing of the hit Broadway show.

“Our wonderful future V.P. Mike Pence was harassed last night at the theater by the cast of Hamilton, cameras blazing,” the president-elect tweeted on Saturday, November 19. “This should not happen! The Theater must always be a safe and special place. The cast of Hamilton was very rude last night to a very good man, Mike Pence. Apologize!”

Trump later tweeted: “Very rude and insulting of Hamilton cast member to treat our great future V.P. Mike Pence to a theater lecture.Couldn't even memorize lines!” The real estate mogul deleted the tweet shortly afterwards.

  1. It may be best for Trump to give up his twitter account. Pence was gracious about the incident and didn't make a big deal. Online rants as a private citizen is one thing but Trump is just perpetuating and devoting energy to something that's ultimately not important. There's real work to be done Mr President-elect.

  2. I can't stand that racist Hamilton Musical. They are playing our forefathers as black people and we know that isn't true. Shame on a white person who attends the show. And Double shame on any white persons who likes the musical!

It was designed by a racist to shove in our faces.

  3. 6:36, 7:54 - You may want to read up on your history. It's not as lilly-white as you think it is.
