Could Hillary Clinton Still Win The Election? There’s One More Chance

BALTIMORE (WJZ) — After Donald Trump was proclaimed the winner of the 2016 presidential election, there have been peaceful protests sprouting up in pockets across the country.

Now, an online petition has been started asking the electoral college to, when they meet on December 19, withhold their support for Trump, something granted to them in the Constitution.

The foundation for the petition is the fact that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote, something that Trump himself has complained about in the past.

  2. Wouldn't the Constitution have to be amended in order to change from Electoral to Popular?

  4. The people don't elect a president the states do. It was designed that way so less populated states have a say so. The Founding Fathers were very smart men. If not for the electoral college the residents of "fly over" states wouldn't have a say in elections. For those who don't like this or who keep repeating she received more votes-pack you bags today and get the hell out of this country and don't come back.

  6. Joe, what's your opinion on this? Do you think they could really change their minds?

  7. 10:02, My opinion is, it's a load of crap. You will NOT see Hillary Clinton publicly backing this in any way as it will destroy any hope Chelsea will ever have in the future of politics.

That doesn't mean the LIBERALS/MEDIA aren't going to pull every string they can.

Nothing will change, period. Trump is our next President and that was confirmed by Obama yesterday.

  11. There's not a snowball's chance that this will happen. The petition is a piece of liberal hysteria in its content and language. They'd have a better chance at getting a new flavor of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Hillary's Dafeet, the one with bits of broken promises and swirls of confusion in a base of regurgitated rhetoric.

  13. Maybe this will pacify the crybabies so they will settle down and take a nap. In all reality it will never happen. However stranger things have happened when dealing with the Clintons. Nothing surprises me anymore.
