Sam Clovis: ‘Weak-Kneed, Lily-Livered Republicans’ Put on ‘Despicable Display of Cowardice’ by Abandoning Trump

Sam Clovis, co-chairman of Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, reviewed Sunday night’s second presidential debate on Monday morning’sBreitbart News Daily with SiriusXM host Alex Marlow.

“I thought we did really well,” said Clovis. “I thought the first 15 minutes or so were pretty much as predicted, a little rocky, to be honest, but I think from that moment on, I don’t think there’s any question who was in charge, and I think he really had Mrs. Clinton on the defensive for most of the rest of the debate.”

Clovis disputed the notion that Clinton came to the debate to “talk about the issues.”

“She’s done everything she can to avoid the issues,” he said, “because her tax plan sucks. Her record in foreign policy sucks. She has no love for the military. She’s a criminal, and she ought to be in prison. I mean, I’m just being blunt: this is a woman who ought to be in prison right now. If you or I had done what she has done, we would be in handcuffs in an orange suit, and we would be in a maximum security federal prison right now.”

  1. At least we know every republican that needs to be voted out of office in the next primary elections.

  2. It was a set up from the first question and it was planned.
They started, intentionally, attacking him with the BS potty comment and they thought he would go down.

But he didn't. And that folks shows you what Trump is made of.
And it also shows you what she is made of.

She tried to make a joke of the debates with the ridiculous scandal instead of sticking to important issues.

I am so glad he finally broke loose and became the Trump we all know him to be.

I can not wait for round 3. She is poopin' her pants!

  3. Without calling them names, they're digging their own hole. Or is it that they, too, have each something to hide that will be exposed on Hillary's way to prison?

  4. I am so sick of the RNC's behavior and particularly Paul Ryan. I didn't care for him when he was running with Mitt Romney and my opinion of him hasn't changed. I always thought he was working with Mitt and the handful of old guard that never intended to support Trump. But Ryan kept quiet and said very little but tried to stir the pot by telling everyone to vote their own way. That was the set-up. Ryan has bigger fish to fry and he is going to make a run later on just watch and see. He can't be trusted and because of him, I will not support ANY CANDIDATE that won't support Donald Trump. Trump will get my donations but that I will handle directly, the RNC won't get a dime.

For years these clowns get to within spitting distance of the finish line and they blow it election after election. They can't do anything right! I stopped believing them and trusting them years ago. Because they are so focused on not losing their padded jobs and getting all the grafts they have completely lost sight of what is at stake in this election. These clowns talk about sticking together and beating Hillary, the liar and cheat, yet they plot behind closed doors and in secret to bring down Trump. This is like the Roman Counsel plotting to destroy the Roman Emperor and they killed him!

All of their behaviors have really made me mad as hxxl, and I won't vote to re-elect any of them again.

PS I'm a woman, a supporter of Trump, and as far his foul language, I have heard my supervisors talk a great worse on the job and I have also been around some bosses that tried to get a little too friendly until I reminded them about martial arts.
Compared to Hillary and Bill Clinton, Donald Trump is a choir boy and someone I would be proud to shake his hand.
