Here is the latest information on Major Hurricane Matthew as of 5 AM EDT. Matthew is a Category 3 Hurricane with max winds of 125 mph and is moving to the N at 10 mph. The storm is located just north of the eastern tip of Cuba.
The most recent forecast has shifted the track of Matthew further southeast, bringing the greatest impacts near the coast and offshore. However, there is still plenty of uncertainty on how Matthew will impact the region.
Rain Saturday will produce an already saturated area with significant flooding issues - glad it turned to sea, but we will have a mess of our own here locally
Last night Dan doubted the European model which had Matthew turning out to sea. This morning most of the models now agree with the European Model. This shows which model we can trust!
