FBI, DOJ roiled by Comey/Lynch decision to let Clinton slide

The decision to let Hillary Clinton off the hook for mishandling classified information has roiled the FBI and Department of Justice, with one person closely involved in the year-long probe telling FoxNews.com that career agents and attorneys on the case unanimously believed the Democratic presidential nominee should have been charged.

The source, who spoke to FoxNews.com on the condition of anonymity, said FBI Director James Comey’s dramatic July 5 announcement that he would not recommend to the Attorney General’s office that the former secretary of state be charged left members of the investigative team dismayed and disgusted. More than 100 FBI agents and analysts worked around the clock with six attorneys from the DOJ’s National Security Division, Counter Espionage Section, to investigate the case.

“No trial level attorney agreed, no agent working the case agreed, with the decision not to prosecute -- it was a top-down decision,” said the source, whose identity and role in the case has been verified by FoxNews.com.

A high-ranking FBI official told Fox News that while it might not have been a unanimous decision, “It was unanimous that we all wanted her [Clinton’s] security clearance yanked.”

“It is safe to say the vast majority felt she should be prosecuted,” the senior FBI official told Fox News. “We were floored while listening to the FBI briefing because Comey laid it all out, and then said ‘but we are doing nothing,’ which made no sense to us.”

  1. Frankly tired of hearing these reports. The agents need to do something about it, walk out, or just shut the hell up! Whining to the media (even FOX) will not accomplish anything. The media is owned by the Clintons. I guess that makes the MSM whores!

  2. I'm so sick of seeing article after article on this and yet nothing will happen. When do we the people get a say? Comey should be prosecuted himself. How's that gonna happen if he heads the agency? Same thing with hillary. I am sick and tired of blatant corruption going unprosecuted. I would vote for anyone who could start that process, regardless of party, age, race, or anything the media could dig up on them. That's why I'm voting Trump. I want the insider politics to end and I want people in jail and or executed if found guilty! Enough is enough.

  3. Most people obviously do not understand what is going on. Hillary does and that is the problem.

It is OK to have Bill Clinton prey on your wives and children. It is NOT ok for some women to prey on Hillary's competition.

  4. Two Sets of Laws.

She is protected at the highest level.
Openly breaks the law and claims "I didn't know" and is let go. See Ya. Love to be ya. Go 'head, girl! Run for President!!

YOU or I try that, be it destruction of evidence under subpoena, obstruction of a federal felony investigation, MISHANDLING CLASSIFIED INFORMATION, or ignoring a subpoena, we would have already had a trial and been found guilty. Our life, our finances, and our reputation would be destroyed.
But then again, we are serfs, unworthy of mercy. We'd be in prison (and NOT some cushy tennis court retreat --- all the spots are taken by you know who), trying not to get killed or raped, or both. EVERY DAY. For years. Not her, though....
Maybe you aren't aware that she would lead the executive branch. In charge of.....wait for it....wait....ENFORCING THE LAW. It's not only surreal, it's scary.
She gets involved in ANYTHING, it becomes a disaster, except for her, her friends, and the Foundation. Everyone else goes broke and it's often "we, the people". Or a foreign nation, like the entire country of Haiti.
MILLIONS thinks she is the best candidate to run the biggest gold mine on the planet (the USA).
How long will the people tolerate such a state?? How long will they watch "Two Sets of Laws" in action and allow it to contine?
Marie Antionette could tell you, but the fed up citizens cut her head off, along with other beneficiaries that thought the gravy train would never end.
    It ALWAYS does. Badly.
    Keep cheering.
