A Viewer Writes: Royal Farms Mysteriously Closes

Do not know what is going on . . .but Royal Farms in New Church, (just across MD line) has closed. The one across from Dixieland.

Everything has been removed in the store, yellow ribbons surround the gas pumps and all the gas prices are gone on the Marquis. They are gone!!!

    They are going under a complete remodel. They said it will take 4 months to complete.

    They closed one of their stores in ocean city at the end of last year's tourist season. Apparently, not enough business in the off season.

    remodel? that store is not that old, and in great shape

    but better now than during the season

    They closed and remodeled the one in Bridgeville a few years ago too.

    They've had signs on the door for weeks saying that they were closing for remodeling.

    It's being remodeled, just like the one in Nelsonia was this summer. While it's not that old, they are redesigning the layout, with the deli more centered in the store.

    Wow, the place was always packed with customers and virtually every gasoline alley was full.
