Which Republicans Oppose Donald Trump? A Cheat Sheet

Paul Wolfowitz says he’ll likely back Hillary Clinton, the latest neoconservative to defect to the Democrat’s camp.

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump among several key demographic groups, but she has also locked up a surprisingly large portion of one small but notable niche: neoconservatives.

In an interview with Der Spiegel published on Friday, Paul Wolfowitz, who served as deputy secretary of defense during George W. Bush’s presidency, said he would likely vote for Hillary Clinton—though he noted he had “big reservations” about her. Wolfowitz said he agreed with those who deemed the Republican nominee a security threat.

“The only way you can be comfortable about Trump's foreign policy, is to think he doesn't really mean anything he says,” he said. “Our security depends on having good relationships with our allies. Trump mainly shows contempt for them. And he seems to be unconcerned about the Russian aggression in Ukraine. By doing this he tells them that they can go ahead and do what they are doing. That is dangerous.”

Wolfowitz is only the latest in his cohort to throw his support behind Clinton, or at the very least to declare public opposition to Trump. Neoconservative intellectuals and pundits like Bill Kristol, Max Boot, and Robert Kagan have also been particularly harsh in criticizing Trump. Richard Armitage, who is less associated with the group but served under Bush, has also announced he’ll support Clinton. Meanwhile, former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and President Bush himself have remained pointedly silent, declining to back the Republican nominee.

  1. Don't think Hogan cares too much about Trump. He has a 70% approval rating in the state. I think he's good to go.

  2. Right.

He and his fellow RINO's have made the chaotic and dangerous world so much safer in the last 8 years that all we really need to do is continue what Clinton calls "diplomacy'. The same old same old and THEY think THAT is working.
What they REALLY want is to make sure they and their circle of masters don't have anyone put a crimp in their lucrative stock deals, insider trading, military industrial wealth, and world influence.
Who will we sell all those weapons to when we stop invading third world cesspools and then leave them in ruins, only to sell MORE guns and bombs to the remaining factions?
That is just the tip of the iceberg of corruption and it is scaring the hell out them. TERRIFYING them.
It's nothing to do with Trump. It has EVERYTHING to do with their MONEY.
And keeping Two Sets of Laws in place.
    Keep cheering.

  4. Let Paul Fing Wolfowitz back Hillary Clinton. I pray to God that Paul Wolfowitz endorses Hillary Clinton. Trump can go up on the debate stage and tell America to Google the Wolfowitz Doctran and at the end of the debate just say, "They have the same policies. Now tell me who is the racist bigot with no regard for people in other countries?"
You can achieve the same goal by showing the interview of Madeline Albright where she stated that the sanctions placed on Iraq were worth the lives of the half a million people (mainly children) that it killed because they couldn't get medicine.
There are dozens of other racist Hillary Clinton policies that are packaged and sold by the media as "caring about the people".
