WBOC Finally Saying We'll Get More Then HUMIDITY This Weekend

While WBOC tried to hold on to a non event this weekend they have finally, (this morning) started on the path of reality and admitted we're going to see rain.

SBYNews stated 10 days ago that we'd see this storm coming and I guess Dan thought he'd try to call us liars. After all, we're not Meteorologists, we don't have alleged awards from made up organizations no one has ever heard of but isn't it funny how SBYNews continues to call major snow storms and WBOC claims they don't expect any snow. Then we stated the snow storm WBOC called for is a non event and wouldn't you know it, no snow.

Are we pounding our chest, NO. What we're doing is telling you that as we have no degree or experience in weather predictions we can actually do a better job then the alleged Delmarvas News Leader. It's no wonder the Weather Ap  is FREE. Who the hell would pay for the crap they feed?

  3. I don't watch WBOC for anything, especially weather forecasts. NOAA is much more accurate.

    1. Yeah....but wboc get their weather data from NOAA and thebNational Weather Service so they're seeing the same data we have acces to....wboc are just too stupid to interpret it.

  6. Gotcha, Joe. It can be quite entertaining! On a side note, I do miss Scott and Lacee there. It's not the same without them on the news.

  7. By the way WBOC (we know you read these comments), how about turning that "Ocean City Cam" at the south end of the boardwalk towards the east (where the waves are) so we can see the weather change....rather than its current position looking north up the boardwalk.

Since the cam is on Al Gore's internet , the business who owns the cam could strategically provide a picture that maybe ohhhhhhhhhh a major national network would pick up during the storm. Oh I don't know maybe like CBS/FOX in New York (since your stations are affiliates) or maybe like CNN/NBC - hell, anyone would be able and then affix "courtesy WBOC TV" (psst sales reps - free national advertising and you didn't need to pick up the phone or send an email)???

Then again, out of the box thinking remains a non-issue at WBOC, where (without prodding) the forecast would still be Sunny, warm and HUMID!

21st Century folks...its been here for 16+ years now!
