Berlin Barrack Troopers Partner With Walmart This Saturday To Stuff A Truck For Hunger Action Month
Berlin, Md. – In honor of Hunger Action Month, state troopers from the Berlin Barrack will do their part in the fight against hunger by hosting a Stuff A Truck event this Saturday, September 24th to benefit families in need on the Eastern Shore. The event is part of a statewide partnership between the Maryland State Police (MSP), the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT), and the Maryland Food Bank to collect nonperishable food donations for Marylanders in need throughout September.

WHEN: Saturday, September 24, 2016 – 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
WHERE: Walmart, 11416 Ocean Gateway, Berlin, MD 21811
Throughout September, which is nationally known as Hunger Action Month, Marylanders have the opportunity to donate nonperishable food items at a variety of events across the state. From Oakland to Salisbury and various counties in between, MSP and MDOT representatives will be out in full force to collect donations for those in need. Select MDOT locations will also accept food donations throughout September at MDOT Food Drop Off Locations. Additionally, supporters who can’t make it out to these events can donate food online using the MSP and MDOT virtual food bank platforms.
