President Obama on Monday defended San Francisco 49ers backup quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s decision not to stand during the playing of the national anthem.
“[H]e’s following his constitutional right to make a statement,” Obama said at a press conference in Hangzhou, China, responding to a question about the quarterback. “I think there’s a long history of sports figures doing so.”
The president added, “I don’t doubt his sincerity. I think he cares about some real, legitimate issues that have to be talked about. And if nothing else, he’s generated some conversation around some topics that need to be talked about it.”

As I've been saying all along. One man uses his stage to push his message. Politicians do it all the time. You're only attacking it because you disagree which is your right as well.
ReplyDeleteOf course he does. There is nothing anti American I would put past this man.
ReplyDeleteHow have black lives been since democrats have been in charge. Obama has 8 years to fix the problems only thing I see him do is stir the pot and say the same thing over and over.... The most riots and racial tensions this country has ever seen is the past 8 years. Not to mention the flat out lies of racial assaults. The country needs to heal and get better. November couldn't come soon enough.
ReplyDeleteNothing new from that a$$!
ReplyDeleteI would bet if this moron was a white guy, he would take a different stance.
ReplyDeleteIf Kaepernick is benched the aftermath will eventually go to the Supreme Court. That may be his intention, because the current Supreme Court will rule in his favor and bleed the NFL dry for a settlement. No one has yet speculated that he may be planning his exit strategy from the NFL and his entrance to public appearances & speaking engagements.Even before all of this occurred,he was not seriously in contention for a ring and probably will never be.I see a scheme here that's a lot bigger than some idiot refusing to stand while the National Anthem is being played. Is he smart enough to have orchestrated all of this? My guess is yes,but only because he had someone coaching him who has not been identified.
ReplyDeleteSomebody needs to remain seated based on their convictions. So many just go with the crowd. Kaepernick has guts. I salute him.
ReplyDeleteThat's bc your a troll.
DeleteWe're great in this country for public displays of patriotism and religious faith. The feeling (or absence thereof) behind them is irrelevant.
ReplyDeleteOne POS to another .
ReplyDeleteOf course he would, he cares so little for America unless we are paying for his and bubble-butt and the mother-in-law, and the drug kid's vacations.

It has nothing to do with guts you moron. This country is full of traitors and I can't wait for the Civil War!
