Wonder if this was done on purpose, if so that is neat. I'm still going to give The Good Governor a sporting chance, but hoping he will get on the Trump Train with us Maryland conservatives that back the governor.
Hogan needs to get on board and support Trump as does every Republican.
I am a staunch Republican and I didn't go to Kathy Szeliga's fundraiser at Mark McGuivers house. If she can't support the Republican Nominee for President then I can't support her for U.S. Senate. Sorry Kathy and Larry you should have gone to RNC Convention.
As a Republican Governor in a Democratic leaning state, why risk your job? If backing Trump put him one vote closer to losing to an O'Malley/Brown type I wouldn't want him to do it. At least if Clinton and Hogan both won Hogan could sheild the state to some of her horrible policies. If Trump and Hogan both lost we would be screwed! I appreciate him acting strategically.
What I want to know is why now make this... Why didn't he do this like months ago when he spoke up about this issue, and that was like the beginning of the school year last year so we could of had this happen this school year. Did he now just figure out has to use executive order or something?
If I were Hogan soon to be running for a second term in a BLUE state I would not go there either. But I bet he'll pull the lever for Trump in the privacy of the voting booth.
He had better get on board with Trump or move out with Barbara Streisand....LOL

I honestly don't understand why any Republican in any position wouldn't back the nominee. Not backing Trump is approving Hillary.

ReplyDeleteThe same as if he tackled the gun ban first term. It would have been political suicide.
ReplyDeleteThey only swore off political banners if they were against Hildabeast
