The first female ever to try out for the Army’s elite 75th Ranger Regiment has flunked out, but will get the opportunity to try again later this year.
As part of the Army’s effort to integrate women into combat roles, it allowed this unnamed female staff sergeant to try out via the 75th Ranger Regiment’s Ranger Assessment and Selection Program 2 (RASP 2) June 16, Army Times reports.

When will they get it , This unit is difficult for men with a lot more muscle mass than a female. Get a real job , many openings are available behind the desk.
ReplyDelete$100 says when she tries again, the standards will be "adjusted" so she gets in....
ReplyDeleteBecause in war, when you are pinned down and a fellow soldier needs you to carry him 100 yards to safety, the enemy will certainly "adjust" their fire to allow her to get the job done.
STOP risking lives to make sure YOU get to follow your "dream".
Political correctness does not belong in the police, fire dept, or the military. If you can meet the standards, great, you're in.
But if your ticket "in" requires an "adjustment" for your success, it's not a "ticket", but just a "pass".
I don't want my son killed because you always wanted to be a Ranger.
I always wanted to be an astronaut, but they never would "adjust" the standards so I could do it.
Bigoted bastards.
Keep cheering.
And we'll all be safer when they bend the rules so she can pass. Political correctness, like liberalism, is a thinking disorder.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you people so offended by this? She gave it a go and failed. She didn't make it! Yet you are outraged as if she did. She failed you guys. There is no woman Ranger. But you imagine false scenarios to complain about. Get A Life
ReplyDeleteI know several women that could whip butt on most of you overweight, whopper eating, cigarette smoking shore billies.
ReplyDeleteThey bend them the rules every day for the democrat presidential candidate. just look at the above post, big percent is where they have the goods on her, but like the energized bunny, the crook keeps ticking unscathed.
ReplyDeleteWe aren't outraged.
ReplyDeleteWe are just used to seeing strict standards reduced too accommodate individuals who can't meet the standards everyone else must meet, so we can show how "diverse" and "inclusive" we are.
Being a cop, firefighter, or special ops soldier is a WHOLE lot different than some minority hiring goal for a construction job.
Get real.
Political correctness mandates that she make it.

ReplyDeleteI'm ambivalent about whether she succeeds or not as long as preexisting requirements are in place. But give her props for trying. Glad she serves.
I wanna be an Airborne Ranger;
ReplyDeleteI wanna live a life of danger;
You're left you're right, now pick up the step;
You're left you're right you're left you're riiiiiiight.
The powers that be don't care. All members are just cannon fodder to them.
