Vice President Joe Biden argued Friday that the federal government needs to help train people to transition to jobs with a future like information technology, and away from the more physically demanding jobs of the past.
"It's cognitive capability now, rather than physical capability," he said at a discussion on tech hiring and training on Friday. "There's not a lot of folks shoveling coal into the steam furnace, it's a different requirement."
Biden also called on lawmakers and the unemployed workers they're trying to help to "to figure out where the jobs are going to be."

Come down from your damn ivory tower Biden, there are still people out here who work and get their hands dirty every day and love the work they are doing and the jobs are there. Most people are not like you; you have never worked a day in your life. Go back to smoking whatever you were smoking and leave the working world alone.
ReplyDeleteComing from the member of the club who took all those great coal mining jobs away. We know where the jobs are. They're in your pockets and we want them back!
ReplyDeleteBiden go shoel S..T., u pos.
ReplyDeleteInformation technology jobs have been outsourced out of the country. The problem with spending money on training is we have to jobs to train for anymore other than bartenders or food service workers.
ReplyDeleteThanks Biden.
The democrats know how to pick the loser garbage like Biden. This isn't the USSR. People can do whatever type of work they are good at and like and don't want or need the government to train them. That is what schools are for. I am so sick of democrats. There isn't one alive who is worth a darn. Biden needs to quit while he's ahead and sit down and shut up. Karma's bite him before and it will continue until he gets in his place which is not telling others what they should be doing.
ReplyDeleteMr. Biden, you've just handed the responsibility off without any sort of promise (or ability or motivation) to assist. So, what you've essentially given us is not much of anything, just more water vapor from a blowhole.
ReplyDeleteGood old Joe, big mouth, soft brain!
