Isn't a joints worth of weed a civil offense?
ReplyDeleteYes, a $100 fine on a ticket for possession under 10 grams (1/3 ounce).
ReplyDeleteBut he had it rolled, so there's a paraphernalia charge that could be made for the single piece of rolling paper.
Clever laws, huh?
Sounds like the bar association had a hand in drafting the law to ensure continued revenue from representing "criminals".
ReplyDeleteFoot patrol my arse! He was out trying to pick up young girls! We all know this deputy is a Monger!
ReplyDeleteIt's all about the money! Justice spelled any way you look at it in the good ole USA any more is MONEY. Proof our there any other reason to let a murder rapist pedophile out on parole for over population BUT put someone in for a joint, traffic offenses, our any other petty things they do like give cops a quota to fill in tickets do they give you 3/10 tickets for speeding? WHILE mind you our tax dollars won't be put towards education and every child needs to bring in things like boxes of tissue, hand sanitizer, Ziploc bags, not to account got all the other things they want money for and need through out the school year.....wake up America we need to change or there will be nothing left to change!
