BALTIMORE (WJZ) — Authorities pulled a man’s body out of the Choptank River on Tuesday morning, a Maryland Natural Resources Police spokesperson confirmed to WJZ.
The body was initially discovered by watermen near Horn Point, just downstream from Cambridge, about 8 a.m., agency spokesperson Candy Thompson said in a phone interview.
The body is being sent to the Medical Examiner’s Office for a positive identification and investigators are working to contact the man’s next of kin.
