    1. 2 years ago when I graduated I landed a job starting at $90k. I had higher offers at a few other places but the benefits weren't as good and the areas had a higher cost of living. Your statement is incorrect.

  4. Excellent video. Didn't say she didn't finish college but that real work experience is an important component in any education. My company regularly hires college interns during the summer so that they can combine work experience with their education. Win win. We get great smart motivated kids to assist with projects and they get the experience they need to make the most of their college experience. And 4:14 sells short the pay for college grads. Depends a lot on what field you choose. Our interns are from engineering schools and we pay them much more than $15 per hour.

  5. Spot on - she has life figured out and will quite probably succeed understanding the perceived value you provide determines the reward you will receive.

4:39, 4:14 wasn't selling short the pay for college grads at all. Those who take challenges and accept responsibility for their own success will earn far more than$31,200/year, plus time off whenever they have a headache. Those who need safe space, expect high grades as a reward for existing, and generally expect to be taken care of may not even be able to hold a job at McDonald's.

  6. 5:26 PM you are living in a fantasy world. Lots of college grads are lucky to be making $12, Especially around here. Check the ads. Its hysterical. EVERYONE has an entry level (code for cheap pay) position with a 4 year degree requirement for $10-12 / hour.
