Berlin Fire EMS dispatched to Assateague Federal Park for a drowning. A mid 40 y/o male pulled from the ocean, pronounced deceased at AGH.

berlin fire/ems has been to assateague several times today for near drownings. please only swim by a lifeguard.as this storm approaches,the ocean is very dangerous.i watched in horror as the paramedics tried to revive the male. hats off and may god be with you.you are true professionals in your field.

Was down at assateague this weekend (Saturday) big sign posted: No lifeguards on duty. Use caution this weekend!

current and waves were very rough last weekend. with the approaching storms it's only going to get worse! be very careful!
