Omowale was speaking in an interview set to air Sunday night on this reporter’s talk radio program, “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio,” broadcast on New York’s AM 970 The Answer and News Talk 990 AM in Philadelphia.
Omowale used the interview to claim five states as belonging to the “Black Nation”: Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina, Alabama, and Georgia.
The revolutionary stated: “We just need to start migrating back to those states and taking control of the economics in those states. If black people move in, most definitely white people will move out. So it’s not a hard process for us to have our own country within a country.”
Omowale is also co-founder of the Huey P. Newton Gun Club, a black militant gun group named after Black Panther Party founder Huey P. Newton. According to reports, Dallas shooter Micah X. Johnson “liked” the Huey P. Newton Gun Club and Omawale has said that he recognized Johnson from black community events in Dallas.

ReplyDeleteWhy just Liberia? The entire continent of Africa would suffice. Its landmass is much larger than USA and I'm sure crowding is not an issue.
ReplyDeleteIf USA is a must, might I suggest the great state of Alaska. Again, crowding is not a problem, certain "drugs" are legal and during the summer-time, the northern region has daylight 24 hrs a day.

DeleteLaughable because currently and taking a look back in history not one person can name one successful black run country. Every single one of them have never been anything more then havens of crime and poverty and the people would starve to death if not for handouts from other countries. I say let them have their own country and see how it works out for them. It will more of the same of blacks eating their own.

ReplyDeleteThat was indeed the idea of presidents of the past, to send all former slaves back to their homeland and so Liberia was formed just for that. Take a look at the country's flag and you will see that it resembles the US flag but with one star. Unfortunately the former slaves who did take the government up on the offer were not met with open arms by the indigenous people of that area and many were killed. I think that if the New BPP would like to have their own state that maybe the Liberian's might be more accepting this go-around since they don't have a very large population. The weather is definitely warmer in Northern and Middle Africa so that is a plus! It'll cut down on the heating bills.
