Man Pleads Guilty To Puncturing Firehose Outside CVS During Unrest

A Baltimore man faces up to five years in federal prison after he pleaded guilty to punching holes in a fire hose at the CVS pharmacy burned in 2015's unrest.

Gregory Lee Butler Jr., 22, was photographed and filmed at the scene on April 27 last year as crews were fighting the fire at the pharmacy in the 2500 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Butler admitted that he used a knife to twice puncture a hose connected to a hydrant, rendering the hose inoperable and slowing efforts to extinguish the blaze.

Butler was arrested days later.
