Law Professor Files Complaint Against Mosby

A George Washington University law professor is filing a complaint against Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby over the investigation and prosecution of six police officers in the death of a black man who was critically injured in the back of a police van.

John F. Banzhaf III says his complaint is being filed Wednesday with Maryland's Attorney Grievance Commission. Among other things, Banzhaf says in his 10-page complaint that Mosby appears to have violated Maryland's rules of professional conduct for lawyers, which requires that a prosecutor refrain from prosecuting a charge unless it is supported by probable cause.

So far, Mosby's office has tried three of the six officers charged in Freddie Gray's 2015 death. Two prosecutions ended in not guilty verdicts and a third resulted in a mistrial.

  7. Soon we'll be reading on Wiki:
"Marilyn Mosby, the disgraced Baltimore City State's Attorney who was in violations of ethical duties and found guilty of filing false charges............"
Same as that one Nifong in the Duke Lacrosse case.

  8. Mosby needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent, disbarred, fined and jailed. There's more evidence against her for professional misconduct than there is against any of these officers, really none against them. And, then let there be civil suits against her!

This woman is a disgrace to her race. When she had an opportunity to be fair and just, she choose the low road of fame and glory at the expense of these officers.

  9. Time for someone involved with the prosecution to start telling the truth. Mosby's not capable of telling the truth. She's from a family of disgraced police officers so lying and corruption is what flows in her veins.

  10. Unfortunately, the City of Baltimore and the State of MD have paid a terrible price for Mosby's passion for lying and showing off. In addition to her salary, she has directly cost the city and the state a fortune in legal expenses and court costs. In addition, it is the other costs to the city of negative publicity, lost business, stigma in the market, alienation of the city police officers, and an unimpeded crime wave that will continue to set the city back countless millions of dollars from the past year and far beyond.

  11. This law professor was the architect of the case against Mike Nifong the NC DA from the Duke lacrosse case. Nifong was disbarred, jailed (for only a day if I recall correctly)fined and eventually bankrupted.

  12. "Complainant respectfully reserves the right to file additional related complaints, and requests for investigation, concerning other attorneys involved in these same matters, and to file supplemental and/or additional complaints against Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby."

I would hate for Mosby to steal all the lack of ethics limelight. I really think Bledsoe and Schatzow have earned their own separate complaints. Those are the 2 monkeys assigned to this circus.

  13. She is a disgrace to professional prosecutors everywhere but then again she is an affirmative action dirtbag and that is the quality of the unqualified human garbage that affirmative action produces. Any race with any pride and working brains would totally reject affirmative action since it automatically labels people as being under qualified, even those who in fact are qualified.
