Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), chair of the House Committee on Government Oversight and Reform, told FBI director James Comey during his testimony on Thursday morning that the committee would refer former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for investigation for perjury, given that she lied under oath before the House Select Committee on Benghazi in October.
“You’ll have one,” Chaffetz said, within “a few hours,” after Comey testified that the FBI would need a referral for Congress before investigating.
As Breitbart News detailed earlier this week, Clinton lied under oath to Congress in at least three ways: first, by stating that she had turned over “all my work related emails” from her private email server to the government; second, by insisting there was “nothing marked classified on my e-mails”; and third, by telling the committee that her attorneys “went through every single e-mail.” FBI director James Comey’s statement Tuesday suggested that none of those sworn statements were true.

FBI????? Seriously?? Those stupid F*&^%@ wouldn't know a criminal if the saw one!!!
ReplyDeleteShe might wiggle through this one by putting the blame on her attorneys and a statement that no one person should have to review 30,000 of their own emails. She couldn't take the time from her busy schedule of lying to us and breaking several other laws.
ReplyDeleteOh, 12:24, why are some in this country so willing to let corruption rule even when you're slapped in your face?
ReplyDeleteChaffetz has already sent the referral and if you remember history, Bill Clinton was IMPEACHED because he committed PERJURY.
To comment on your comment (ill-placed wrong post) Even if she couldn't take the time, the fact is still the same. She knowingly put our classified intel in the hands of uncleared individuals. That is a CRIME that shows INTENT! Also, something that obviously Comey had missed (or neglected) when he was doing his recommendation speech.
Chaffetz nailed him to the wall and let him twirl a bit and then stated he would have a referral for her perjury when testifying to Congress about Benghazi!
Chaffetz's line of questioning was simple and brilliant.
DeleteI wonder how many of those attorneys are also working for the Clinton Foundation.
ReplyDeleteWhenever Gowdy gets snarky, you know he isn't buying your BS. Comey should've seen it coming yesterday when the brazen SC congressman was called for his five minutes. Like a machine gun, he went through about five to six of Clinton's blatant lies to his committee with simple one-word answers required from Comey. Then he says, "I'd go through more, but I have a plane to catch tomorrow..."
ReplyDeleteThis is the true kiss of death from this spunky ex-prosecutor. (Along with the snark remark about him being just a ghetto prosecutor was nothing to Comey's being a big white-collar crime prosecutor when they argued over the impossibility to ever prove criminal intent without looking at other factors, missed by Comey. Yes, it really got that snarky.)
I would vote for Gowdy to be our AG in January in a NY second. He hates liars. Can't stand corruption and he is unabashed in letting us know his disdain for them, either.
Gowdy should be our next president, or better yet please make him attorney general. He doesn't swallow anybody's bullsh!!
ReplyDeleteOh I would vote for Gowdy in a New York minute too.
ReplyDeleteI misquoted him. Gowdy actually said:
ReplyDelete"Well, in the interest of time and because I have a plane to catch tomorrow afternoon, I'm not going to go through any more of the false statements but I am going to ask you to put on your old hat. Faults exculpatory statements are used for what?"
Love that snarkiness. He's the king of snark!
Why do they bother? The FBI won't prosecute, nobody else will be able to touch her either.
ReplyDeleteAll we can do, is vote next November.
