And it costs more for citizens than the illegals and refugees in this country. Pretty sad non-citizens get better treatment than citizens. We'd be better off if we all became citizens of other countries and came back here illegally.
"Human law must rest its authority ultimately upon the authority of that law which is Divine...Far from being rivals or enemies, religion and law are twin sisters, friends, and mutual assistants. Indeed, these two sciences run into each other." James Wilson, Original Justice on the U.S. Supreme Court
"We are a Christian people...not because the law demands it, not to gain exclusive benefits or to avoid legal disabilities, but from choice and education; and in a land thus universally Christian, what is to be expected, what desired, but that we shall pay due regard to Christianity?" Senate Judiciary Committee Report, January 19, 1853
"At the time of the adoption of the Constitution and the amendments, the universal sentiment was that Christianity should be encouraged...In this age there can be no substitute for Christianity...That was the religion of the founders of the republic and they expected it to remain the religion of their descendants." House Judiciary Committee Report, March 27, 1854
There are many early quotes of our founding fathers and other statesmen which explain and are proof of what the creation of this country was all about. Many monuments in D.C. are carved with religious phrases as proof. Yet look at how far we've separated ourselves from our humble beginnings. And look at the results--the consequences of our sins.
Got news for you religious fanatics; independence, being a patriot, loving this country and believing in the Constitution has nothing to do with Christianity. If you believe it does you are the same as the fanatics of ISIS and those who follow the beliefs of sharia law.
God Bless America, if our founding fathers could see the current condition of our country, I really can't think of any words they would say. What a disgrace the elected officials (federal and local)have allowed this happen. The cost of being politically correct so they can get re-elected.
