ReplyDeleteGlad to see you posting this.
ReplyDeleteYhis needs to go ip WEEKLY so to alert parents of the spd crime cover ups in the Bury.
ReplyDeleteHere is something a little off subject, I think that every "state" police agency such as Natural Resources Police, MdTA Police, Capital Police, Md. Transit Authority Police, Md. Transportation Authority Police, University Police, Park Police, State Fire Marshal, etc. should fall under the Maryland State Police. These agencies could run more efficiently under the MSP, but serve in different branches. They could/should also be eligible for lateral transfers or they could be rotated through if that is their desire. There are to many separate police agencies in the State of Maryland which means we as tax payers have to foot the bill to pay high ranking chiefs and directors. Consolidate and save money.
ReplyDeleteHere is something the tax payers don't know. When the City of Salisbury asks the Salisbury University Police for back up they never get one because they always say "we have no one available" or "we have to keep them available on campus."
ReplyDeleteThis is bad policy and real university police departments around the country have mutual aid agreements with city, county, state and federal agencies. Salisbury University needs to step up to the plate and assist allied agencies when it's many of their students committing the crimes.
All Allied agencies need to have direct communication with each other and back each other up all the time. If the University doesn't want their police agencies to assist others then the city and the county should not assist them and stop funding anything that has to do with Salisbury University.
At least UMES Police act like a real police department.
ReplyDeleteCan't be....say it ain't so. Theft at a House of Learning.
Bet it is the results and fault of President Bush, something the dude residing in D.C., inherited.

ReplyDeleteIt's clear you have no clue....
A copy needs to be sent to parents of every student, it's disgusting for what they take in, that they can't even protect them.
ReplyDelete233 is a disgruntled allied agency officer.... I wonder if the university police call you for all the city slum that comes on campus and commits crime. Quit your whinning. It's your problem if you work in a jurisdiction that surrounds a college.....
ReplyDelete4:14 as much money as S.U. makes they have no cars you want them to run on foot to call. I bet Ed has a nice car. It has become a running joke about the lack of vehicles they have.
ReplyDeleteAs for MSP running everything have you lost your mind. Stop huffing paint. They would all be writing tickets instead of fighting crime. Making revenue for the state. I say kick the troopers to highways where they belong. Let the locals fight crime. MSP is over rated by a long shot.
715 the vehicle stuff would be a seperate story then what 414 said and there is nothing in 414 about msp handling everything or the university police responding on foot.
