Oxy moron words...semi boneless, jumbo shrimp, near miss, near hit.We put the trash out in the garbage can, drive on a parkway and park in a driveway and many more. The English language IS one of the hardest languages to learn.
This also allows politicians to twist words and lie.
Research shows that English is the hardest language to learn. I seriously thought that Mandarin Chinese would be, but nope.
And if you want to be in our United States of America, learn it.
