By the way, Amos and Andy was the most popular radio show on the air in the U.S. for over 20 years. The cast was mixed race, but the main characters, Kingfish Stevens and Andy Brown, were portrayed by white men. The show was primarily written by the same two men who wrote most of the I Love Lucy shows.
The two women remind me of the 1956 version of Amos and Andy played by Amos Jones(Alvin Childress) and Andrew Hogg Brown(Spencer William). They are truly an embarrassment.
