Arrest made after 160 Memorial Day crosses were damaged at a Kentucky park
HENDERSON, KY (WFIE) -An arrest has been made after 160 Memorial Day crosses were damaged early Saturday in Henderson.
Police say a car driven by 27-year-old Anthony Burrus, of Henderson, drove through the display of crosses in Central Park around 6 a.m.
Officers say Burris denied causing the damage, but said he was driving a 1979 Ford Thunderbird on Saturday morning. He told officers he left the car at McDonald's on South Green Street because it stopped running.
The worst thing, is this useless thug deliberately hopped the curb to cause this heartless destruction. He deserves to be the guest of dishonor at a blanket party, hosted by a dozen veterans.
Another disenfranchised American. Just like some of the people on here. How to get people to believe they are part of the community at large and have a stake in its success is one of the hardest problems that face society.
And to think that this trash and many like him are breathing the air that Our Lord provided. I could go on a rant, but it would be a waste of my time and those reading it. Also, it wouldn't shock me to learn that there are other pieces of feces that are happy and laughing about this disgraceful act. God Bless our veterans past and present.
At 27 this turd knew better. Needs to be housed in a brig for about thirty. Days Yes I meant a brig not a jail. Those in a brig still love America and hate turds like this one. I can assure you he would never even think about it again.
Nothing short of criminal. He should be made to clean up his mess and restore the crosses to their rightful position. Horrible and disrespectful.
