Nanticoke Road is closed to "thru traffic" from Crooked Oak Lane to Rockawalkin Rd. I heard from a partial road collapse. This was at 5 pm.
UPDATE:
Due to the heavy rains received yesterday, State Highway Administration has closed Nanticoke Road (Maryland Route 349) between Rockawalkin Road and Oliver Drive. The road will be closed indefinitely for repairs. State Highway will have detours posted at Rockawalkin Road and Crooked Oak Lane. Additional information can be obtained by calling the State Highway Administration Media Information Line at 410-545-0303.
Wicomico County Department of Emergency Services (DES)
The DES is continuing to monitor the situation in conjunction with the State Highway Administration and issue additional information if warranted.
