RNC Chairman: ‘It’s Time to Unite.'

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said Wednesday it’s now time for the GOP to unite, saying it’s “pretty obvious” that likely nominee Donald Trump will win the delegates necessary to clinch the party’s presidential nomination.

Mr. Priebus said Mr. Trump still has to get to 1,237 delegates to be the nominee, but that it’s “pretty obvious” he’ll get there with Sen. Ted Cruz’s exit from the race.

Mr. Cruz announced Tuesday he was suspending his campaign after Mr. Trump rolled to a big win in Indiana, and Mr. Priebus said on Twitter Tuesday evening that Mr. Trump will be the “presumptive” GOP nominee.

Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s campaign said Tuesday that the governor will stay in the race, and Mr. Priebus said he would leave that up to Mr. Kasich.

  2. Both Cruz and Kasich are selfish weasels only in it for themselves to be Trump spoilers for the "Party", who Preibus claims "Needs to come together."

Are you all fooled yet? Isn't this the bestest? These people are the most ignorant agenda pushers in society today.

The goal is, bust up the Trump train, but from a different angle.

Clear as day, you are busted.

  3. In Ryan's interview on CNN a few hours ago, he said, he still doesn't support Donald Trump in one breath, and then in the next breath, he said, "We should listen to the voice of the people, and learn something from this" He's speaking out of both sides of his mouth.
The GOP crammed McCain and Romney down our throats and we sucked it up and voted for them. Now it's their turn to return the favor and support who WE want.

  4. Isn't this the same Reince Priebus that totally hates Trump and swore that he was just here to destroy the "Party"? Why is Kasich staying in the race after only winning ONE state? Friends with Reince? Why won't Ted Cruz throw his delegates over to Trump in "Support of the GOP unity"? Because he and Kasich still hold out to be spoilers?

Screw your "Unity Talk", Priebus, we, the People, see right through your scheming and hatred. Your arse us showing here big time. The GOP is over this time around. It has successfully pulled the trigger on its own suicide, and we're pretty happy about it.

God Bless America, and President Trump as well!
