Albert Babajan, the pastor who carried out the ceremony, has converted 196 Muslims in 2016. He expects the number to grow to 500 by the end of the year, and says the most common reason is disappointment in Islam.
“The motive for the change of faith is the same for many: they are disappointed with Islam,” Babajan told German magazine Stern.
One refugees said Christianity has liberated him from living in a constant fear of sinning. Iranian girl Shima said she’s been looking for happiness her entire life, and finally found it under the Christian faith.

ReplyDeletePeople are often dissatisfied and changing religions and denominations within religions. When their dissatisfaction is the highest that is the time to knock on their hearts' door so to speak. It is good to be part of a group that helps each other.
ReplyDeleteI prefer not to be part of a religion myself. I can't abide it. Unfortunately I am not a member of the fire department either. Churches and fire departments are the two greatest social organizations in any community. My family will be on their own to dispose of my body and celebrate my life one day.

Most people who seek and follow Jesus Christ consider themselves adherents to CHRISTian faith - as in faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Nothing wrong with that. Don't forget the Pharisees loved word games and gotchas. Don't fall in that trap.
