Too bad. My wife and I and several other couplew were looking forward to this after a dinner out.
ReplyDeleteGuess they didn't sell many tickets to the show.
ReplyDelete42nd Street takes up a whole lot of stage space.I questioned whether the CC had adequate stage size when I heard it was coming. That may not be the reason for the cancellation, but it's a possibility.
ReplyDeleteLack of culture in the area and extreme cheapness, but the Red Lobster is packed every night.
ReplyDelete9:19 - right on target!
ReplyDeleteRed Lobster ShrimpTacos are da bomb!
ReplyDeleteI am a season ticket holder for the Broadway Shows as a package deal. Therefore each show cost is not shown. Today, I was notified that I had been refunded $30.00 for each ticket. I thought the tickets were more expensive than that. Does anyone know what the tickets cost? Maybe it is not to my advantage to purchase the package other than guarantee me my same reserved seats.
ReplyDeleteTo sit in a show like that requires beer. Real men don't do shows.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah. Let's sell beer and get a minor league hockey team! You'd had more attendance for this play. People don't give a dang about hockey around here. Maybe if they are drunk enough.
ReplyDeleteI have been to 33 Caps games. Fun yes, Lots. But you deal with more fights in the stands than on the ice because of the drunks. I've never been involved in a fight. But so many fights are in the stands, I've had it poured down my back, over my head, etc. from drunks dropping beer or throwing it. Massive police presence to keep the crowd calm is usually needed.
So yeah. Break that promise and sell beer, and lose more money to a useless hockey team here, and for that matter most everything else.
A beer won't get me to that civic center..
