Det. Steve Berry of the Mesa Police Department said as a result of the incident, 19-year-old Hunter Osborn has been booked for 69 counts of indecent exposure -- a class 1 misdemeanor -- and one count of furnishing harmful items to minors -- a class 4 felony, reports CBS affiliate KPHO in Phoenix.
Berry said they arrived at that number of criminal charges because there were 69 students, ranging in age from 15 to 19, and 10 faculty members present when the picture was taken. If individuals in the photo are older than 18 and do not wish to press charges, the number of criminal counts could be reduced.
"It is still an ongoing investigation," Berry said. "The number of charges may go up or down depending upon how the investigation continues."

This is not good. But at Wicomico Sr High School, The Class of 1982, one classmate gave the Middle Finger in the class picture, and that was the class picture we receive before another class picture was reissued. I still have that picture.
ReplyDeleteLol just 1? In my graduation picture for Cape Henlopen class of '99 there are at least a dozen that I can recall. I think the number was closer to 20. I'll have to go dig it out now you've got me curious.

DeleteIf you look at the picture,all students are shoulder to shoulder together except the front row,where there is a "break" to expose this. This was intentionally done,while wrong others on the front row should be charged as accomplices to this "prank" !! What say you ?

9:11 - Agree 100%. The crime is that the reviewers, editors, production proof readers, and the authorities we too incompetent to do their job right and find the prank before the yearbook was released. Ain't the kid's fault he has a sophomoric sense of humor.
