The hearing went really well last night with much support from the residents and taxpaying citizens on the proposed budget. It was good to hear that for the second year in a row there isn't a proposed tax increase.
There are some really good things that have been proposed and within the revenue as not to raise taxes.
It's nice to have a true conservative leader and staff who continue to deliver RELIEF to Wicomico County residents.
Along with other factors our economy is improving more people are paying property taxes and other levies.More people are working. When the economy is improving increasing taxes in obvious ways is not always necessary.
ReplyDeleteI attended the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet last night and some of the people they gave awards to was a joke. Michael Dunn for Red White and Boom. He cried like a little pansy because some little 7 year old boy gave him $5 after he worked in the yard. Poor Mikey Dunn cried like a little girl.
ReplyDeleteThen they gave Greg Bassett an award for the Salisbury Independent. Not sure why, but they did and they let him rag on the citizens and the Daily Times.
The funniest award of all time was the "Humanitarian Award" that went to Rev. Mark Thompson. His bio said he retired from FEDEX. No he got fired from there for sniffing around women employees while he was married. Then they said he was the Executive Director of the Salvation Army on Jersey Road. They forgot to mention that he got fired from there. Then they went on to say that he was in management at the other Salvation Army, but they failed to mention that he got fired from there as well. Not once but twice. Funny how the crooked people turn to God and become Reverends after leading a life of shame.
This proves that the Salisbury Chamber of Commerce is nothing but a bunch of Wacks. Most of the awards were given to Chamber members only. I can tell you this I won't be renewing my membership anymore!
The whole county seems like a bunch of Wacks 3:44. Still can't get over how officials were forewarned about the unscrupulous dog breeding habits of the Murphy's and how they dropped the ball and the Murphy's were able to operate under the radar for so long and with so many dogs suffering. If the county residents do not demand a complete overhaul of animal control then they are just as disgraceful as the Murphy's.
ReplyDelete2:24 not unless you have a Democrat leader and then they increase to spend more.
