A Connecticut man gets the surprise of his life, when his car drives into a sinkhole in Lewes.
The incident happened Thursday around 11:00 AM.
Delaware State Police say the man was driving out of a private driveway on Plantations Road when the Subaru Outback sunk into the sinkhole. The driver was not injured.
Police say crews were working on a nearby water main that was damaged by a utility crew. That likely caused the sinkhole.
