Public Invited to Open House at New Sea Gull Stadium April 7

SALISBURY, MD---The Salisbury University Sea Gulls are moving to a new home — and though the structure is significantly larger, the address is still the same.

Families, children and other community members are invited to tour the new Sea Gull Stadium on Wayne Street during an open house from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 7.

The event features tours of the new facility, including areas of the stadium, such as team rooms and training areas, not normally open to the public. Student-athletes sign autographs during the open house, which also includes athletic training and other demonstrations, as well as a backstage look at the Sea Gull Sports Network. Free concessions will be available, and Sammy the Sea Gull will be on hand for photos. The first 500 fans receive a special gift.

Wayne Street is expected to be closed to vehicle traffic from 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. that day.

Admission to the open house is free. For more information call 410-677-5416 or visit the SU website at www.salisbury.edu.

  1. Good to see. Coach Woods has been an incredible asset to the university and to the community. Bet you they'll have a few more NFL scouts in the stands!

  2. What a Joke! An invitation to the free loaders for a free meal at the tax payers expense.
