Families, children and other community members are invited to tour the new Sea Gull Stadium on Wayne Street during an open house from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, April 7.
The event features tours of the new facility, including areas of the stadium, such as team rooms and training areas, not normally open to the public. Student-athletes sign autographs during the open house, which also includes athletic training and other demonstrations, as well as a backstage look at the Sea Gull Sports Network. Free concessions will be available, and Sammy the Sea Gull will be on hand for photos. The first 500 fans receive a special gift.
Wayne Street is expected to be closed to vehicle traffic from 6:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. that day.
Admission to the open house is free. For more information call 410-677-5416 or visit the SU website at www.salisbury.edu.
Good to see. Coach Woods has been an incredible asset to the university and to the community. Bet you they'll have a few more NFL scouts in the stands!
