This says, in English, that Salisbury city government can't say bad things about the engineering company related to the work it did on the failed $80 million wastewater treatment plant. The city received a sizeable settlement from the company based on the agreement. If somebody in a government capacity says bad things about the engineering company, the company has the right to sue the city for violating the terms of the agreement, which could mean millions down the toilet.
It sort of goes without saying that O'Brien and company did a crappy job on the WWTP, along with several other contractors. Salisbury got back about $6 million after paying off the attorneys, for a totally failed $80 million dollar project that is going to cost the taxpayers another $65 million to fix. Plus fines from the state. So, city government workers, no matter how you feel about O'Brien and Gere, keep your mouths shut! Forever!!
John Jacobs was responsible for that circus! !! Nothing like spending 80 million on a WWTP that hasn't worked ANYWHERE in the world. But he talked like he was such a professional engineer! !! Should have been held accoutable!! EMBARRASSING! !!
Those are a lot of $3 words there. What this means?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what this means as I thought the case was settled. Can you explain why you posted this Joe?

ReplyDeleteWho in city government made disparaging remarks against the engineers and violated the agreement? The taxpayers would like to know.
