Breaking News From A Viewer: Tower/Antenna Falls In Fruitland

Here is pictures of tower/antenna fell in Fruitland at Camden Ave. Police and fire on scene now. The antenna fell onto the power line.

  7. The problem is overspending. Politicians think they have to keep the status quo and because prices go up so do taxes. If they check out things across the country they would see many who understand they are working for the people will look to reduce taxes in tough times. Even if it means doing away with things and services you are used to having.

  8. How does a tower on private property falling down have anything to do with taxes and/or government policy? That would be like saying that the fact that my shed needing a new roof gas something to do with the way Bob Culver runs Wicomico county. A private citizen had a peice of thier property damaged as a result of strong winds. End of story.

  9. I think that radio tower was used by the old private ambulance service that used to be based there. I believe it was called Ambutran. Sometime around mid 1980s. I can't remember who owned it, but it was one of the first private ambulance companies in the area.

  10. They need to tear that old place down,it looks crappy driving down Camden.BTW,I rode through Camden Ave today.....and damn if it doesn't look like SU owns almost every block! Huge older houses taken off the tax rolls.
