Upper Ferry is down today because the ramp cables broke. Part of ramps went into the river. 3 J's Construction is trying to find parts of ramp at this time. Not sure how long it will be down, said County Executive Culver.
Better hope OSHA, MOSHA, or the Coast Guard don't get a hold of that picture. No life vests and there a commercial company. The local OSHA inspector is most likely salivating at the mouth at the thought of the fine he could issue with that picture.
Really stoop to bashing the ferry....love Joe's site but truly you all have way too much time on your hands. This was simply a PSA. Enjoy your weekend.
They need to charge a fee to cross on the ferry, that way the folks that live in West Nithsdale and teach at UMES will move out of Wicomico County along with their horrible children!
