Subject: Kasich Says 'Path to Legalization' Is Not Amnesty

Ohio Gov. John Kasich says his immigration plan "is a reasonable approach, but not a path to citizenship."

On several of the Sunday shows, Kasich explained again what he will and will not do. He said he believes his guest worker/path to legalization plan will be accepted both by the American people and by the Congress, even though the Republican-led House rejected a similar plan in 2013.

"I think we need to finish the border," Kasich told "Fox News Sunday." "And once it's finished, people cannot sneak in. They shouldn't sneak in now. They've got to...be sent home.

"We should have a guest worker program. And for the 11.5 million who are here illegally, if they've not committed a crime since they've been here, I would give them a path to legalization where they pay a fine, back taxes, delay in any kind of benefits they get.

  1. There will be no wall high enough as long as we are offering a free ride to border jumpers. Free food, housing, medical and cash jobs will make Jose learn to fly!

Take away the bait, and the fish won't bite on the bare hook; know what I mean?

  2. Everybody was against Rubio when he said this was his stand. Now the "I think I am the Golden Boy" Kasich is pushing the idea. All of them are "Chameleons". Change their wording / position that suits the time.

  3. Just another great argument we can get into with our neighbors, co-workers, family and friends again. Meanwhile they will let Trump build his wall if that is what the people want as the people are lead to cheer and the illegal immigrants will still get in by walking right down the middle of the road at the border crossing being bussed to their desired drop spot. The only thing is, we won't be allowed out! Even if Trump dose a great job for eight years establishment gov. is patient and you could be building a prison for your children or grandchildren.
