Subject: Bill Clinton: We Need To Put The 'Awful Legacy' Of Obama Years Behind Us

Former President Bill Clinton ridiculed Barack Obama on Monday calling for people to get to a “point where we can put the awful legacy of the last eight years behind us.”

During a campaign rally in Spokane, Washington, the former president said that Hillary is “the only person who basically has good ideas, will tell you how she’s going to pay for them, can be commander-in-chief, and is a proven change maker with Republicans and Democrats and independents alike.”

Clinton praised his wife claiming that “from the time I met her 45 years ago until we talked yesterday, she is the best change maker I have ever known. She always finds a way to make something good happen, to make people feel empowered, to buy people into the process, to make democracy work the way the framers intended for it to work.”

“Now if you don’t believe we can all grow together again, if you don’t believe we’re ever going to grow again, if you believe it’s more important to re-litigate the past, there may be many reasons that you don’t want to support her,” the former president said.

  1. To be fair, when put in context he was speaking about the GOP obstructionist Congress.

  3. "...re-litigate the past.."
We'd be happy if there were some litigation in the present that involved your wife, Mr. Clinton.

  4. Bill looks like hell. I still think Hillary will have him killed before the election is over to garner the sympathy vote. She's probably poisoning him slowly right now.

  5. I do not see where in context it specifically referred to the GOP, but I suppose you can deduce and that is probably what he meant. Either way they really have not obstructed. Obama has gotten everything he has really wanted, Alot the GOP assisted hime 100% and some of it he did illegally. I am glad they are finally obstructing on the Supreme court vote. Democrats own the last 8 years - all of them.

  6. A change maker? Give us a short list of those changes, Bill, and start with how much she changed you.

  8. I'm glad he admitted what we've all been experiencing - even reaching back to the previous administration (when the Democrats controlled the House and Senate)...we'll all be sooooo glad when this POSPOTUS is gone (and gone from our memories)! I can only imagine a couple of scenarios where it could get worse...individually, they involve the two candidates vying for the dumbocrat nomination!
