(CNSNews.com) - Speaker of the House Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) praised the Foreign Affairs Committee for passing a resolution declaring that ISIS/ISIL is committing genocide.
“In Syria and Iraq Christians are being executed. Churches and holy sites are being destroyed. Children are being enslaved. The Obama administration is still not ready to say that ISIS and the Assad regime are committing crimes against humanity. We are,” Ryan said at a press conference Thursday.
The House Foreign Affairs Committee passed a bipartisan resolution Wednesday declaring actions perpetrated by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS/ISIL) “constitute war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide.”

ReplyDeleteWell, cutting off the head of anyone who displeases you, or burning them alive in a cage or drowning them in a cage...these are tough calls and it's easy to see why the Obama/Clinton/Kerry/Holder/Lynch/Sanders team wouldn't want to make a snap judgement.
Since when did the president have to say something is so for it to be so or the truth? He is not king, dictator nor God! It is what the majority of American citizens believe it to be and not the opinion of one man elected to office!

DeleteHe's just getting ready to run on the gop ticket. You notice there's nothing said about what to do about it.
