On 3/20/2016 at approximately 0156 hours, the Maryland State Police Berlin Barrack responded to a motor vehicle collision in the area of west bound Route 90 at Route 589, Worcester County, Maryland.

The preliminary investigation indicated a 2003 black Mazda truck operated by William Donald Habas, 24 yoa of Delmar, DE, was traveling along west bound Route 90 in the area of Route 589 when he drove off the right side of the road and struck the guardrail. Habas was not injured in the collision, however he was placed through a series of field sobriety tests of which he failed and subsequently was arrested for DUI/DWI. Habas was transported to MSP Berlin where he was later released to a sober driver.
