ReplyDeletelooks like the rurak empire is crumbling down.
ReplyDeleteRuark properties. Sheriff's sale means they were seized by the government to pay off debts.
ReplyDeleteTax ID numbers should be 9 digits not 8.
ReplyDelete2:28 is starting a spelling empire
ReplyDeleteIt's outside of Salisbury, in the county.
ReplyDelete2:42...you are correct that a social security number or a business tax id number would have 9 numbers, but these are tax parcel numbers designated to real estate. Even the parcel numbers listed here, may get longer at some point by adding extensions to the existing number, if the parcel is sub-divided into smaller plots.
ReplyDeleteSince these appear to be Sheriff sales, it's most likely due to unpaid real estate taxes owed to the County over a period of time.
ReplyDeleteForeclosed properties don't usually go through a Sheriff sale, but I guess anything is possible.
What if they had a sale and nobody showed up? Who in their right mind would want to invest money in Wicomico county? Good luck with that...
ReplyDeleteThe bank.
ReplyDeleteHere's an idea.
ReplyDeleteLarge scale industrial chicken farms!
Perfect location for a CAFO might want to buy that up
ReplyDeletePlenty of land and sure the folks in Nutters wouldn't mind.
Ruarks are something. From Davis the corrupt to the dealer in Sharptown involved in shoot outs and car chases bribing the sheriffs deputies who live in town to turn the cheek. Yes Howard.... You! The biggest winner of his dealing game. All of em have so much money power and pull that they can compare to the DuPont's! Haven't meet a decent ruark yet but one paramedic in the county.
