Dagsboro, DE – Troopers have arrested a 17-year-old teen after he was found to be in possession of a pellet gun and knife while in school.
The incident occurred around 11:50 a.m. Monday February 8, 2016, when Indian River High School administrators were alerted by concerned students that a 17-year-old male pupil was in possession of a knife and a gun. The state police School Resource Officer was contacted and responded to the school and cleared the classroom in which the student was assigned at that time. A search was conducted of the student and the detective located an approximate 8" knife in his boot as well as a CO2 pellet gun in his book bag.
The teen, who is from the Bethany Beach area, was removed from the school and transported to Troop 4 where he was charged with Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon (Knife) and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon a Firearm. He was arraigned at JP3 and released to the custody of a parent pending arraignment in Family Court at a later date.
I didn't know a small plastic biodegradable pellet was a deadly weapon, but if you think that is a weapon, then how come no one else is being locked up or things being banned like cars, trains, forks, fists, wood, plastic, metal, air, water, wind... I mean give me a fucking break, if someone wan'ts to hurt someone, how they do it or what they use shouldn't be the concern, it should be that they fucking want to hurt you!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnyone can hurt people with a spoon, so how come spoons are not banned, I mean after all they make people fat, like pencils make people misspell words!!!!
Probably mean Monday, February 8, 2016.
ReplyDeleteAnd what about the knife? This young adult is old enough to know better and understand the rules. He broke them. Now he pays the price.
ReplyDeleteAnyone that says a pellet gun is a firearm is trying to sell us down the river
ReplyDeleteI think you probably need more weapons than that to survive in school nowadays
ReplyDeleteyou got to love it even a pop tart is a weapon
