The Maryland State Police at the Berlin Barrack in Worcester County in conjunction with local agencies and the State Highway Administration have implemented the Snow Emergency Plan. This plan is to assist the State Highway Administration in snow clearing operations throughout the county.
Effective on 2-15-2016 at 0900 hours all vehicles on the roadway must be equipped with snow chains or snow tires on both driving wheels of motor vehicles. In addition, a parking ban is imposed on all snow emergency routes in the County.
A press release will be sent out advising when the snow emergency plan has been lifted. Questions should be addressed to the Maryland State Police Barrack in Berlin at 410-641-3101.
According to WBOC they are still calling for a rain/snow mix in their forecast!!!! They need to get out of there comfy offices and walk outside and take a look. Seems like anymore, all I can do is look outside in the morning before leaving for work, because you can't trust their forecasts!
This dusting is the most snow we have had.
ReplyDeleteBut Dan said it wasn't going to be like this!!!
