welfare people, don't you get enough from us hard working people. I pay over 600.00 dollars a pay period in taxes. what welfare people need to do is get a job. REALLY. Stop taking for the ones who work for a living.
Downtown is thriving, with assorted businesses. There is a dentist office, a spa, nail salon, a barber, a possibly open or closed book store and a bank. I mean who doesnt want to ride a trolley on wheels to downtown?!?!?
Joe, Is there someway to find out how this Trolley experiment is doing on a financial stand point. I also have never seen anyone on it. What are the costs associated with operating it? I did see it pull up to little Caesars pizza the other day and the driver got out for a pizza for lunch. No big deal but To be honest he did not look like he should of been operating the bus at all. He did not seem like he was in the best of health. Now this is just my opinion but somewhere the costs for operating this should be brought to light. Also it says the city of Salisbury, Shore Transit and Salisbury University are pleased with this service. Does this mean the costs are split between these 3?
9:08 I haven't either. Maybe business picks up after dark. I don't go into or stay in Salisbury after dark. I try to avoid it if at all possible in the daytime!
9:52 I thought the City of Salisbury was footing the bill. The people that ride the trolley are not charged. Seems like the tax payers are left with a bill for another service they are not using. It was basically a way for them to try to get the college kids to downtown to the bars.
I have never seen a passenger in the bus when I see it ride by. Have you?
ReplyDeleteNope and it's a big waste of money. Why would anyone go downtown? There's nothing to do down there but get some sushi and a cupcake.
ReplyDeleteDing-a-ling, here comes the short bus again!!
ReplyDeleteWhy not shuttle us welfare people to walmart so we dont have to take welfare cabs just asking.
ReplyDeleteIt's always been empty when I see it go by.
