It is really good to hear people looking out for those without a voice. Folks need to be held accountable for how they treat animals. Some they call pets.
Animals are not TOYS , a lot of people think so , they have feelings , they hurt like us , they bleed like us . Give em a break and treat them right. It is unfortunate that this group always gets a bad rap , I guess they deserve it , however , they have responded when I needed them. If thy right offend thee , then cut it off.
Salisbury Animal Control has nothing to do with the Wicomico County Humane Society. They're two, completely separate offices. Salisbury Animal Control reports to Salisbury City Police (Chief Duncan & The Mayor). Any issues you have with Salisbury Animal Control need to go through that chain of command. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you're in for a rough time. The City of Salisbury is overrun with animal abuse and the local authorities/government refuse to acknowledge it or do anything about it. When you call to report animal abuse, YOU'RE made to feel like YOU are the one doing something wrong! Meanwhile scores of animals are suffering. Just start looking in back yards as you drive by and you'll see. The only way that any of these animals will be helped is if you do it yourself. Be careful.
Good work by the Sheriffs Department and the person posting...the animal should be taken away from the idiots! These temps are BRUTAL on all animals livestock included, adequate shelter and bedding should be readily available!!!!
This is in Parsonsburg. Why would the Wicomico County Humane Society tell them to call the Salisbury Animal Control? I hate to see a dog left outside without proper food, water and shelter. Maybe we should do it to the owners a few times and see how they like it.
Laws need to be changed in this county! People need to speak up to the city and county councilmen to see what can be done. In the mean time report and offer help to the owners. Try to educate the idiots for the animals sake!!!! I have taken food, straw and shelter when I have seen a need. Great job to all who are trying to help!!!!
I know a reliable source who said the dog is gone. I pray it is in safe hands and out of the cold! Thank you to everyone who spoke up and was involved in helping this defenseless dog. It certainly does make a difference when enough people speak up. So please people continue to speak up and help those who can't.

Isn't it a felony now for abuse of an animal????!! Leave these selfish POS family out in the cold and see how they like it.
