I have never heard of the game smear the queer. The word queer had a different meaning years ago when we were going up so who will be nice enough to explain what and how this game was played?
Anon 442 PM - smear the queer was a game that involved a bunch of guys who would tackle the odd guy, the odd guy being the queer. The odd guy generally had something like a football in their hand and it was their job not to be tackled. Now if the odd guy just happened to be homosexual then that was just a coincidence.
Hide and seek, Duck Duck Goose, Hopscotch, Jump Rope - wow, kids today have no clue what these are as they now just sit around on their cell phones texting and take pictures of themselves! Kind of sad!
