Maryland State Fire Marshal News Advisory

18 comments:

  1. Thanks, but I decided to build my new home in another state and am spending the cost of a sprinkler system on a home theater room and his/her bathrooms/walk-in closets. Would have built it on my 5 acre waterfront property but screw MD and its taxes. Keeping the old home for a weekend getaway.

  2. Screw the Salisbury FD and the Maryland State Farmins Association. Let them pay for sprinkler installations and hook ups on our new homes.

  10. I will build in Delmar Delaware next year. No sales tax, a right to protect myself and family, and not a $8,000.00 required fire suppression system. My home is appraised in between 176,00.00 to 185,00.00. I will put it on the market for 170,000.00 just to get out of Maryland.

  11. At $8K per, with no lives lost in recent history, the whole concept is a total waste. Kinda like sending a ladder truck with a half dozen goons on an EMS call for a nonresponsive subject - a total waste.

  12. If mandatory sprinkler systems in all new residential construction is such a great idea to be forced on new home buyers...why is it that only two states require it...Maryland and California?

  16. part of the proceeds could be used to fix the heat system at Salisbury station 2. Those poor fire fighters are standing outback with a fire in a burn barrel to keep warm

LMAO! Spot on my friend, spot on. These losers run on EMS calls for job security and they are to stupid to realize that sprinklers will put them out of business.
