Despite a down-tick in the percentage of the U.S. population identifying as Christian since 2008, America remains a predominantly Christian nation with 94 percent (94%) of those who identify with a religion stating that they are Christian, according to Gallup.
“[A] review of over 174,000 interviews conducted in 2015 shows that three-quarters of American adults identify with a Christian religion, little changed from 2014, but down from 80% eight years ago,” says Gallup.
“About 5% of Americans identify with a non-Christian religion, while 20% have no formal religious identification, which is up five percentage points since 2008.”

And ironically, despite the facts, Christians will still find some way to claim persecution.
ReplyDeleteDespite what facts, 6:14?
ReplyDeleteThe facts are clear that a small minority who refuse to admit that God exists has taken it as a mission to remove most or all religious expression from the public square, and the gay mafia appears intent on destroying anyone who refuses to accept their agenda.
Please take your trolling elsewhere.
Persecuted by many and saved by one. 6:14 you may not love God but he loves you. So when eveverything is falling apart in your life and you don't know what to do just give your heart to the Lord and he will take care of you.
ReplyDeleteWell 6:14 it would appear 6:55 just proved your point.
ReplyDeleteafter Osama is done we will all be bowing to the east
ReplyDelete@6:55
ReplyDeleteThe FACTS that 75% of the nation is Christian, almost all of our politicians and presidents from the federal to the state to the local have almost all overwhelmingly been Christan. Almost all judges ever, also Christian.
When faced with the facts, the overwhelming majority of people making and enforcing the laws.... you know...those folks as 6:55 put it " remove most or all religious expression from the public square, and the gay mafia appears intent on destroying anyone who refuses to accept their agenda.".... the people putting this in play, just by the sheer FACTS... are Christian.
Christians need to stop it with this victim complex and start looking at the facts.
