Off topic a bit,why aren't the WOMEN of the Red Cross ever mentioned among those who went "on the beach" during the very same episodes in WW2? The fighting had not even begun to stop when they jumped off of the landing crafts to render assistance to wounded soldiers. Why does history conveniently omit such acts of heroism simply because they were women?
Actually the crack baby generation has arrived as well as that of the coddled Caucasian. There is a better term for the coddled but this post would sure to be deleted if used
Startling (and sad) contrast. Perhaps it would be a better track to require all 18 year olds enlist for a two-year term in the armed forces before going off to school or jobs. It would teach discipline, respect and love for one's country - items demonstratively absent in today's youth.
Get off your high horses, you had pansies in the 40s and you have brave young men in the 2000s. I don't suppose you think Iraq and Afghanistan are safe places? The 18 year olds are still jumping out of planes, storming beaches, charging into certain death. Have a little respect.
More truth to this than one can imagine
ReplyDeleteit will probably offend some little pony folks
lol
get over it

ReplyDeleteEven Memes are trying to be politically correct. Anyone with a brain knows it was blacks that keep asking for safe spaces.
